MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH DATA / STATISTICS
In Nebraska, during 2011, 181 people died and 16,108 were injured in traffic crashes.
One crash occurred every 16 minutes.
Forty-four (44) people were injured each day in motor vehicle crashes in Nebraska during 2011 and one (1)person was killed every 48 hours.
Motor vehicle crashes cost Nebraska over $693,431,300 annually using 2010 National Safety Council calculable costs of motor vehicle crashes.
One in every 27 licensed drivers in Nebraska will be involved in a motor vehicle collision each year.
