Project News Releases

Schedule & Phasing - updated June 8, 2009

Official highway 30 detour traffic will travel from Schuyler south on highway 15 to highway 64 west to highway 81 and north ending at 30 /81 junction.  Official highway 81 detour traffic will travel from highway 81/22 junction west to highway 39 at Genoa then south on highway 39 to highway 92 traveling east back to highway 81.

Between 13th and 15th Street, the Phase 1 traffic patterns for North – South traffic will be maintained via head to head traffic on the existing northbound lanes while the southbound lanes are constructed.  Phase 2 traffic patterns in this area will then be shifted onto the new southbound lanes so the northbound lanes can be constructed.  The final phase 3 traffic patterns will split the traffic to the outside lanes so the medians and left turn bays can be constructed.

Only local destination bound semi trucks will be allowed on city streets.
