Proposed Construction:
The proposed improvements at the N-50/Cornhusker Intersection and N-50/Meadows Parkway intrersection include channelizing the westbound Cornhusker Road approach to N-50, a raised median and geometric modifications to limit left turns from the North-South frontage road just east of the intersection. The improvements to Meadows Parkway intersection include pavement widening and geometric modifications to facilitate traffic turning off N-50 onto the frontage road.
Lighting/Signals:
Cornhusker intersection is already signalized and roadway lighting may need to be adjusted.
Right of Way:
Acquisition of new right-of-way will be minor.
Phasing:
Project to be built under traffic. No detour is required.
Schedule:
The project is currently scheduled for a 7/30/2009 letting
Cost:
The project is estimated to cost $100,000. (2009 dollars).
